Francine Landes is a Tony Award-winning actor, a Juilliard School graduate, and was, for many years, a core faculty member in the M.F.A. program at The American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco. Not many professional coaches are better suited to help you nail your audition for theater, T.V. shows, or film, nor better adept at assisting young students to gain entrance into a college acting program. ABOUT FRANCINE
Francine Landes has been teaching, directing, and choreographing throughout Europe, Australia, Canada,
and the United States. She is a Tony Award-winning actress having performed both on-Broadway and off-Broadway. Francine earned her B.F.A. from the Juilliard School in New York City and an M.A. from Columbia University. She has worked and performed in film, television, the New York Shakespeare Festival, the Stratford Festival of Canada, the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, PBS, and the San Francisco Opera Company.
Francine has been teaching acting, character embodiment, movement for actors, and Acting for Animators to students all over the world. She has been faculty at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, UC-Berkeley, Princeton University, and Barnard College. Her performance career includes playing in the original Broadway cast of "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" (Tony Award) and in the role of Eve in Martha Clarke's "The Garden of Earthly Delights" (Drama Desk and Obie Awards). Currently, she teaches at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco.
A MULTI-BASED APPROACH
As a trained actress, former dancer, and choreographer, my background is rich with abundant tools to gain access to the talent within you. For the joy of finding your voice and freeing yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally, I support people in their truthful expression through their work. In addition to one-on-one consultations and group sessions, I regularly host workshops and seminars in the San Francisco Bay Area for people who are interested in developing their technique. At present all workshops, coaching sessions and seminars are held on-line on Zoom.
MY APPROACH
Francine is an acting teacher and personal tutor who has worked professionally in film, TV, and theater. She specializes in helping people identify and achieve their individual career goals by training them to express themselves with in-depth, heart-felt creativity, and emotional honesty. Whether you are a professional in the industry or an aspiring student, Francine works with actors, dancers, singers, and animators. Her work comes from a playful, joyful, enthusiastic dedication, and commitment to the love of expressing the human spirit. Using an array of communication and acting skills, both verbal and non-verbal, Francine's work will allow you to experience a new way of approaching your work all done on Zoom.

DESCRIPTION
One-on-one coaching for college entrance auditions,
pre-screens, and The National College Unifieds Auditions.
I give a detailed coaching program to prepare you for auditions including monologues, both classical and contemporary and that suits your talents in alignment with college drama programs.
Work on the emotional access, the voice, authenticity, and verbal and kinetic expression will be a primary focus. All sessions will be held over Zoom.
